John Holman Clinic June 2004

Faith and I attended a John Holman herding clinic in June 2004. The weather was great, the sheep were cooporative and the instruction was great for all levels of dogs and handlers. In  one short weekend Faith and I learned directions and how to better read each others body language. I was able to work on my handling skills and really learned alot.

Check out John Holman's site below for a list of clinic dates.

Learning "away to me"

By the end of the weekend Faith  had both directions and a respect for crook positioning.

More "away to me"

Faith is very stylish and quick it is hard to get a picture of her on her feet.

Moving the sheep out of the corner with out flank commands  proved to be a challenge.

Bring 'em back

Faith heading 2 sheep that split away from the group.

This girl has "style"

I love to watch her work, that is one of my handling "issues" I get very wrapped up watching how stylish she is.

Such intensity

Faith really reminds me of her mother Nessie while working. Both ladies are very stylish and intense.

"That'll do"

Kiss on the nose for a job well done.
